The Women’s Initiative (WIN) of Deloitte LLP is a defining strength of our culture, our values and our brand. Since its launch in 1993, WIN has helped us create a more inclusive environment; build the intellectual capital required to serve our clients, develop our people and grow our business; and it has evolved into a powerful engine for innovation, far beyond our expectations.

The Women’s Initiative 2007 Annual Report features some of our most recent achievements as well as the many successes of our women across the country.

In 2007, WIN moved closer to realizing its vision to drive marketplace growth and create a culture where the best women, and men, choose to be.  Some highlights in the report attached below are:

* For the third year in a row, we retained our women at the same rate that we retained our men.
* WIN-related programs were recognized with eight national awards and received more than 140 mentions in print and electronic media outlets.
* We hosted more than 500 professional development, networking, and mentoring WIN events in 2007 alone.
* After a successful pilot, Mass Career Customization™ was made available to 20 percent of our U.S.-based professionals and is being extended to the rest of the organization in 2008.
